What I Do: I work with the Consumer Marketing team to help set direct-to-consumer marketing strategies, manage the Promotions team, and work on promotions to sell memberships, subscriptions, and product to customers. Within the team, I have a particular focus on making sure our promotions are operational—including offering set up and testing and managing marketing relationships with our fulfillment vendor and other agencies.
Interesting Fact About Me: In between 16 years working in marketing at Scholastic Inc. and joining Taunton in 2015, I taught middle school English in the Bronx for a year.
What I’m Passionate About: In terms of work, I’m passionate about combining input from analytical data with insights from subject area expertise from across the company to craft promotions that speak to our customers where they live and that achieve corporate goals. Personally, I’m passionate about animal welfare and modern poetry.
What I Like About Working for Taunton: Taunton is small enough to be agile in response to an ever-shifting world of consumer interests and needs while still retaining its well-earned reputation for quality content and category expertise. Working here has afforded me the opportunity to be involved in many different aspects of marketing beyond consumer sales, from testing and analysis to event and sweepstakes marketing, and across channels.
