What I Do: As publisher, I am responsible for the vision, strategy, and operations for The Taunton Press books division. I lead and support a team of talented and experienced editors, production editors, and sales and marketing professionals to bring best-in-class books to our enthusiastic audience.
Interesting Fact About Me: I am a doctor (not that kind!) and hold a Ph.D. in rhetoric and composition from Saint Louis University.
What I’m Passionate About: My family, books (obviously!), travel, and cooking. Most weekends, you can find me at a marching band competition or sporting event cheering on my kids. Travel is a balm for my soul, and I love the process of planning a trip almost as much as I love going! Some of my favorite destinations include New Orleans, Orange County, Italy, and Turks and Caicos. Seeing the world helps reinforce that we are part of something so much bigger than ourselves.
What I Like About Working for Taunton: It is a pleasure to work with people who not only care about our shared company goals, but also about the people for whom we create products and content.
