What I Do: I’m responsible for the development and successful execution of the editorial vision of the Fine Gardening magazine, website, and other digital products such as the Let’s Argue About Plants podcast, long- and short-form videos, and webinars.
Interesting Fact About Me: I learned to swim before I learned to walk.
What I’m Passionate About: . . . Caryopteris—aka, blue mist shrub. It’s a smaller shrub that explodes with sapphire hued flowers in late fall. I have a bunch of different varieties in my own gardens, recommend them to every person I know, and even dug up a piece of one of mine as a gift to the Taunton CEO many years ago. Nothing impresses the boss more than a sad-looking twig in a muddy nursery pot.
What I Like About Working for Taunton: I love having the ability to be creative every day. The ingenuity of the folks that work here never ceases to amaze me. Whether it’s trying to figure out how to make a subject like soil microbes interesting or turning a simple garden tip into an animated TikTok video, the content development teams, in particular, are so much fun to work with.
