(Newtown, CT – 11/10/2021) The Taunton Press has announced that Rob Yagid is taking the helm of the newly formed position of Vice President, Brand & Product Strategy at the company.
In this role, Yagid will work cross-functionally to develop and execute brand and product strategies to grow the Taunton portfolio. He will work across all existing brands and departments to identify new category opportunities and develop the long-term strategic plans for future product lines. Collaborating with research, marketing, product, editorial and finance teams, Yagid will help develop business model and resource requirements for product development and work closely with brand leaders to enhance their influence and optimize their position for growth.
Yagid was brought into the role for his talents in brand development, his strategic vision, and his passion and experience with Taunton products and its customers.

Yagid is the former Editorial Director of Fine Homebuilding and GreenBuildingAdvisor.com and is Executive Director and Founder of the award-winning #KeepCraftAlive program. In addition to managing Taunton’s premier contextual philanthropic program, Yagid most recently spearheaded digital media on behalf of the Missoula, Montana, based non-profit Backcountry Hunters & Anglers, focusing on environmental policy, and building digital advocacy campaigns for the protection of North America’s most treasured wild public lands and waters.
Yagid started in his new role on Monday, October 25th.
