A Neckline Binding for Knits

As when attaching a turtleneck, you divide the neckline and binding each into quarters, then stretch the binding to fit the neckline

The amount of stretch varies from knit to knit, so Sarah Veblen, Sparks, Maryland, teacher and author, recommends that you try her techniques on assorted samples to learn how they behave and then experiment with the various types of neckline finishes you'll be creating.
