Fleece cording can be butted up to an edge and zig-zag stitched on, leaving a nice finish without a lot of bulk. In this video, Rochelle Harper, a freelance clothing designer and author of Sew the New Fleece and Sewing Outdoor Gear, demonstrates how to create multicolored cording using fleece cut on the true crossgrain and how to stitch the cording in place using an edge-stitching foot.

For more on embellishing with fleece cording, see Rochelle's article "Finish It with Fleece Cord" in the April/May 2002 issue of Threads (#100) .
