Try Plus-Size Draping -- For the Best Bodice Ever
When your measurements go off the charts, draping gives design freedom
by Kathleen Cheetham

Pattern maker, designer, and teacher Kathleen Cheetham explains the steps involved in draping, a wonderful way to create a custom pattern for the unique personal shape that commercial patterns can't as easily accomplish. Commercial patterns stay within a range of standard measurements that very few fit into. If adjusting a pattern to fit takes too much skill and time from your sewing, Kathleen shows how to fit the cloth and demystifies draping. This is the first in a series of draping articles.
