from Threads February/March 2007 (#129)

Go Faux!
Today's faux fur offerings are cozy, gorgeous, and surprisingly easy to sew
by Elizabeth Dubicki

Fur is all over the runways, and has been for a few years now. Betsy Dubicki, author of No Sew, Low Sew Decorative Storage and 101 Ways to Use Your First Sewing Machine, tells us that the faux options are amazing these days. In this article, she also gives us a great source list, tells us which patterns work best with fur, and provides many tips and tricks for layout, marking, cutting, and sewing these luxurious textiles.
