Updated Jeans Jackets
Classic details take you beyond denim
by Gigi Louis

Jeans jackets are a classic, and, these days, are seen in a huge variety of fabrics besides the traditional blue denim. Arguing that it's the styling, not the fabric, that makes a jeans jacket the fashion staple it is, Gigi Louis shows us how to make a jacket with all the typical details, including flat-felled seams, hand-warmer pockets (using a clever in-seam technique), even top- and edge-stitching, and jeans-style closures. She also provides an annotated list of jacket patterns to guide the reader to the perfect design for her figure and style preferences.
