For Your Next Garment...Try Industry Seam Allowances
They don't all have to be 5/8 inch wide -- add or subtract to get better results

Most of the commercial patterns used by sewers use 5/8-inch seam allowances for all seams, but these aren't what the garment industry prefers. Read about the size seam allowances the professional garment manufacturers choose. Once the home sewer or custom designer learns how to sew using industry seam allowances, sewing is easier and accuracy and pleasure increase.
