GARMENT CONSTRUCTION TIP
Color-Code Pleat-Marking Lines

When making a garment with many parallel pleats, it can be difficult to differentiate between marked foldlines and placement lines. To avoid confusion, mark every pair of lines with tailor's tacks or thread tracing in matching thread; change colors for each additional pleat. Then you can simply match each pair of lines to fold the pleats into place.
