GARMENT CONSTRUCTION TIP
Hanging's a Snap

I just completed a dress with a wide neckline -- and in order to keep my straps from peeking out, I attached lingerie guards (snap-on strips that fasten lingerie straps to a garment to keep them hidden). But when I put the garment on the hanger, the wide neckline caused it to slip off. I hate hanger loops -- they creep out and make public appearances. So instead of sewing in the loops, I sewed a snap to the end of each, and then snapped them to the lingerie guards. Voilà! Removable hanger loops!
