CHOOSING AND USING NOTIONS TIP
Position Shoulder Pads Correctly for Great Results

There are two principal styles of shoulder pads -- one for set-in sleeves, one for raglan sleeves. Be sure to purchase the right style for your garment. When properly positioned, the flat edge of the cap should be at least 1/2 inch from the garment neckline and the thick edge should extend slightly into the sleeve cap. Try on your garment to position each type.
