Measurements You Need to Check a Pattern's Ease

Ease is included throughout a pattern, but there are key points where the amount of ease directly affects fit. Take the measurements shown here and subtract them from the corresponding finished dimensions of your pattern to be sure there is enough wearing ease (to allow for movement) plus design ease (to give the visual proportions that are right for the pattern's style).
