Why do you ask for my email address?

There are several places on the Web site where we ask for your email address. We use email to send you an order confirmation for purchases made at the Web site. These are sent automatically as a customer service. When you send us an email about a particular question, we will respond via email.
We also offer email updates about new or noteworthy items from The Taunton Press. With each emailing, you will have the opportunity to opt out of further emailings. If you do not want to receive these email bulletins from us in the future, please use the opt-out option on the email you receive from us.
We do not sell your email address to outside companies.

How do I opt out of or in to your emailings?

If you have registered on our Web site, you will find checkboxes on our registration page that allow you to choose the interest areas that appeal to you. When you check the box(es), you will receive emails in those categories. If you join but do not check a category box, you will only receive emails that we send to our entire email list.
You can choose to discontinue future email messages from Taunton by using the opt-out option contained in the email message you receive from us.
