Design Confidently, Live Comfortably

| The House that Grew from the Garden The perfect spot for the garden suggested the right place for a home by Anne Corey For architect Michael Viveiros and his wife, Suzanne, the walk from the garage through the garden to the house is something to look forward to. Taking cues from the agricultural history of the land, Michael and Suzanne designed their home outside Providence, Rhode Island, to be reminiscent of farm buildings in size, shape, and materials. They kept construction costs low by doing some of the work themselves and choosing materials carefully. The result is a pair of buildings with a rustic feel and a symbiotic relationship with the surrounding greenery. |
