It's impossible for all of Fine Woodworking's quarter-million readers to write an article for our reader-written magazine. But for a long time we've toyed with the idea of how to showcase the work of the many talented woodworkers, professionals and amateurs alike, who toil away in their shops, often in anonymity.
Acknowledging the work of others is only one reason for this department; another of its purposes it to provide design inspiration. In the same way that writers learn by reading the work of others, woodworkers can learn by looking at the work of their peers.
