Editor's Review: Not Your Old Saw
by Rick Arnold, Mike Guertin
review date: December 1, 2004
This circular saw offers fair to good sawdust control and gloved-hand trigger access. In addition, it has a depth gauge that is easily read. In our test, however, its flat aluminum plate flexed quite a bit when downward pressure was applied to the saw. Visibility is obscured in two ways with this saw: first, its wide front handle limits the view of the blade; second, its laser guide obscures the cutline. This same laser guide produced a line on our test model that was about 1/2 degree from being parallel with the blade.
