Editor's Review: Studded traction for boots
by Mike Guertin
review date: January 17, 2008
I’ve had my share of butt-bruising falls on snow- and ice-covered job sites. I tried to remedy the situation with a number of boot-traction gizmos. Most felt unstable, and some didn’t even offer traction. Then I discovered Stabilicers, a pair of flexible rubber soles that strap onto my boots with two heavy-duty 1-in. hook-and-loop webs. Each sole has 17 hardened-steel studs around its perimeter.
