John White, the wood-shop manager at The Taunton Press, made the sled for the Building Skills Department, where it appeared in the June/July 2006 issue of Fine Homebuilding. In this video he shows a few ways of using the sled to make woodworking easier and safer. When you become more familiar with the sled, you’ll come up with a dozen or more ways, and wonder how you ever worked without it.
