Take a video tour of the Not So Big Showhouse 2005, a 2,900-square foot, 3-bedroom, 2-1/2-bath model home built for the 2005 International Builders' Show in Orlando, Florida.

Designed by noted author and architect Sarah Susanka, the showhouse illustrates the philisophy set forth and illustrated in her books The Not So Big House, Creating the Not So Big House, Not So Big Solutions for Your Home, and Home by Design.

In this video, Susanka leads viewers on a tour of the showhouse, identifying a few of the principles and motifs that make this a special home, including varied ceiling heights, themes and variations, and her concept of "light to walk toward," which uses natural light from windows to direct people through the home.
