In 2004, Matthew Teague stepped down as managing editor of Fine Woodworking to embark on new adventures, not the least of which was purchasing his first home, a 1956 brick ranch in Nashville. It's not likely that Matthew will ever give up dovetails for 16-penny sinkers, but lucky for us homeownership kindled his interest in building.
