As a child, David Crosby saw carpenters put a roof on a house and thought construction had to be the best job in the world. After serving in the Air Force, he followed up on his childhood dream, working as a builder in Arizona, Washington, Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, North Carolina, and New Mexico.
