This plant has blossomed as advertised and grown each of the 2 summers it has spent in my steep, south facing, hillside garden. The clay soil was amended with sand and the base of the plant placed ~1 inch above soil level. An inch of gravel mulch was then placed around it. As neither the deer nor groundhog eat it, I'm hoping to try a few more varieties of agastache this year.
