Cane-growing shrubs are loved by gardeners because they're easy to care for and they grow rather quickly. As these plants age, however, they can lose vigor and decrease in flower production. In this article, horticulture expert John Fech explains how to prune cane-growing shrubs to keep them healthy and beautiful. In a few easy steps, he describes how to maintain these plants as well as how to rejuvenate overgrown and neglected specimens without significantly altering their natural graceful form.
