A Garden of Several Courses
Dividing this small space into distinct servings makes it seem like a feast
by Lucinda Hutson

Most gardeners wish they had more space. Short of buying a new house, there isn't much they can do, unless they copy what this garden designer has done. First, she dispensed with the driveway. Next, she built walls and decorated her garden rooms with treasures and trinkets found during her travels. In this article, Lucinda, who likes to cook as much as she likes to garden, shares how she created an oasis that includes a cottage garden with vegetables, a tropical garden with a pond and patio, a kitchen garden, a deck, and a cantina where she serves her guests fare with a Mexican flair.
