A garden designer reveals how she relies on the basics while letting her imagination run wild

As a little girl, garden designer Laura Crockett enjoyed constructing secret forts and natural hideaways. As an artist's daughter, she was trained to let her imagination run wild. When it came to designing a garden for herself, the sky was the limit, at least in regards to the concepts. In reality, Laura had to figure out how to make her garden dreams come true on a limited budget. In this article, she will share how she indulged her flair for all things artistic without breaking the bank. The result is a pleasing and functional garden chock-full of captivating scenes and intriguing details.
