Bread-bag mittens

I’ve found a way to reuse plastic bread bags. Once a week, I slip one over my hand and up my arm and go on poison ivy patrol. It’s easy to pull up new plants, using the bag as a mitt.

After I finish, I put a glove on my other hand and peel the bag down from the top, turning the bag inside out and leaving the poison ivy in the bag. I then tie a knot in the bag and throw it away.
